The walk was completed today. While we only had 12 walkers, including 3 that completed the whole 19km, we have raised over $1000 for St Lukes’s Anglicare Bendigo. Well done to all those who walked, donated and supported this worthy fundraiser.
St Mary’s is joining with other Anglican Churches in a walk to raise funds for St Luke’s Anglicare.
The walk will start at St Mary’s, Kangaroo Flat and is expected to finish at St Clement’s Huntly approx. 12.30pm. The walk is broken up into sections with brief stops at the Golden Square Fire Station, St Paul’s Cathedral, Lake Weroona, St Luke’s White Hills, Bunning’s Epsom and Huntly Lion’s Park.
Walkers are welcome to join us for the full journey (approx. 18.3 km) or just 1 or 2 sections, whatever you would like to do. Donations can be made at any of the churches mentioned above or see us along the route on the day.
