The Annual Parish Fair will run between 8.00am and 2.00pm on Saturday 4 November 2017. Visitors can expect a wonderful array of stalls organised by Parishioners– cakes/preserves/produce, BBQ, craft, trash and treasure, books, plants, morning tea, raffle and more. Numerous invited stall holders will be setting up displays including car boot collections, scrapbooking, arts and crafts, Bendigo Wood Turners, Bendigo Spinners and Weavers and more. Children’s attractions include a Jumping Castle, Face Painting Fairy Floss and craft activities.
An exciting and unique part of our fair is the FREE Community Concert, running from 10.00am to 1.30pm. The line-up of entertainment includes the Bendigo District Concert Band, Choice Voices, Rusty Divas, Sing Australia and entertainers from U3A.

We are holding ONE service only at 10.00am. This service is celebrating St Francis of Assisi and includes a Blessing of Pets. All pets are welcome and are encouraged to bring their human families. Donations of pet food and old blankets and towels are welcomed and will be distributed to local animal welfare agencies.
8 October – Bishop Ron Stone
The 9.00am service is our annual Thanksgiving Service for Emergency Services and Community Personnel. Members of local CFA brigades, SES, St John’s Ambulance etc will be in attendance. There will be NO Holy Communion and the service will be followed by a blessing of the emergency services vehicles and morning tea.
The regular 11.00am ‘On The Way’ contemporary service will take place, with Holy Communion.

The Tenth Annual Winter Art Show will be held on Friday 28, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 July from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Entry is $3pp. The official opening will be held on Friday 28 July from 7.30pm. Bishop Ron Stone will open the show, as he did at the first show ten years ago.
This year’s judge is Andrew Goodman. Andrew is a contemporary artist whose work encompasses soft sculpture, sound, lights and electronics and video into immersive installations. Andrew is currently lecturing in Visual Arts at Latrobe University and has experience teaching art theory, painting, drawing, life drawing, sculpture and spatial practice, Photoshop, and video and sound production.
Tickets for this years Winter Art Show Raffle are $2 each. First Prize is a $200 voucher for The Capital Venues and Events (including The Capital Theatre and Ulumbarra Theatre). Second Prize is two tickets for the Russian Nation Ballet’s performance of Romeo and Juliet at Ulumbarra Theatre in November.
